The Warren Township Schools are a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade from Warren Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its five schools had an enrollment of 2,849 students and 207.2 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a studentâ"teacher ratio of 13.7:1.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
Students in public school for ninth through twelfth grades attend Watchung Hills Regional High School on Stirling Road next to Woodland School. The school also serves students from Warren as well as the neighboring communities of Watchung, Green Brook (in Somerset County), and Long Hill Township (in Morris County). As of the 2014-15 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,286 students and 94.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a studentâ"teacher ratio of 13.6:1.
